As for other Ideas, I had wanted to include working ground wagons, an autowagon if You like, an equivalent of a pedal-powered automobiles, with some spoof names for them. Something like the Highwayman in Fallout 2. Just wanted to ask You, if You think it's a good idea to include vechicles in this setting?

Regarding your other ideas, they're quite interesting. If you wanted to do those things, you'd just have to do a good job weaving the explanation into the story.
